Mark Garnier – UK Member of Parliament

 

Mark Garnier is a British Politician and Member of Parliament representing Wyre Forest in Worcestershire. He currently serves as the Prime Minister’s trade envoy for Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Brunei.

A former investment banker, Mark’s 30 year career in the City of London saw him rise through the ranks of firms such as Edmond de Rothschild Securities and Bear Sterns to run several successful hedge funds between 1999 and 2012.

Elected to Parliament in 2010, he has served for over 6 years on the Treasury Select Committee and the Parliamentary Commission for Banking Standards and was Minister for Investment from 2016 to 2018.
